Open Positions Guided by Purpose For nearly 30 years, Tucson pet owners have trusted Southern Arizona Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center (SAVS) to care for their companions. SAVS was the first specialty and emergency center to serve Southern Arizona and continues to be the top provider of quality care in the community. SAVS was founded by Dr. Mary K. Klein and Dr. Reuben Merideth in 1994 and is still veterinarian-owned today. Remaining veterinarian-owned allows our staff to focus on providing the highest level of veterinary care over profit. Our business and staff are guided by SAVS’s four core values: patient care, teamwork, education and excellence.
